Most Chinese ISP blocked access to itune store
Apple inc. Itunes is widely popular among music lovers, even in china they have mutiple subscribers. They were even planning to open many stores there as well, but now it seems a distant possiblity.
An album released in the first week of this month caused a ban to itune store in the china. This contains pro-tibetan lyrics and the earning from the sale went towards the peaceful purpose of Dalai Lama.
It was put on sale for general public and for the athletes it was given free, on condition that they will play it on their itunes. When the news spread about some North American, European and even Beijing olympic athletes have downloaded the album. Most started to experience the difficulty in accessing the itune store.
It is believed that China did not wanted the pro-tibetan music to be listened by its citizen, especially the ones who raise the flag of the country.
Many internet service providers in china has blocked the access to itunes stores and it is also likely that the upcoming iphone may not see the light of the day in the sporting country.
